This pages serve two purposes:
- Make information available for me apart from my computer at home.
- Pass this information to all, who might be interested.
To serve as many people as possible, I've decided to write almost all of
this pages in english. As I'm not a native speaker, there are surely
some annoying errors in grammar or spelling. If you spot one, please
drop me a
note.
CD Database
I own some 5000 CD-DA's, mostly of them with spanish and latin music.
For every CD I make a lookup in the
freedb and write a new entry if not already
in the database.
I also save this entries locally,
which I transform into
HTML-Pages.
Many of the pages show also the CD-Cover which I
scanned with my Epson GT-6000 scanner.
Better than looking directly at this database is to
search it.
Scripts
With some scripts and the help of some slightly modified programs I transform this
data into different forms. I made a description of
the tools I use.
